Have you, like U2, still not found what you were looking for?

It’s a frustrating world sometimes. You know what you want to do but you don’t have a clue how to make it happen. I, for one, cannot draw much more than a stick figure or bubble letters…and I haven’t done the latter in a couple of decades or more. Yet there are times when a picture pops into my head, perfectly rendered. And I am powerless to share it with anyone else because I cannot reproduce it.

This was also, sadly, true of my ability to produce a CRM for casino operators. Until I joined the team at Harvest Trends!

For years, I worked in Casino Player Development building casino host goals, looking for a casino CRM that wasn’t a rehashing of something geared for big business. I tried to figure out, with no programming abilities, how to turn my vision for Casino Player Development Contact Management into reality.

I went to trade shows, did research on the internet, talked to casino marketing professionals and programmers and database specialists and IT specialists, I called companies I found on internet ads, filled out surveys and requests for information online, and still didn’t find “the one.” I heard about custom solutions for big gaming companies and knew I’d never get one of those (because we were a small regional locals joint, plus the economy tanked), and then I began to despair. Years passed.

I lost bonus dollars because I wasn’t able to find a CRM for casino player development that had all the bells and whistles my bosses and I wanted.  We wanted something that would prompt a casino host or player development executive to call players who were overdue for a trip or who had a life event/occasion coming up or who needed to be invited to a tournament or who just hadn’t been heard from in a while.  We wanted a way to assign new players to a host for follow-up and then hold them accountable for having completed the assignment.  We wanted to provide the hosts a way to note players’ interests so they could make appropriate offers and book rooms or restaurants according to what we knew about those guests’ preferences.  We wanted a simple interface that took away the guesswork and made it easy for the host to use.  We wanted to quickly determine which hosts were on pace for their goals and who had some work to do.  We wanted a coaching and management tool.  We wanted all this to be integrated with our Casino Management System so profitability would be top of mind.  Sadly, there simply wasn’t anything out there that could do all that.

But soon there will be.  Oh, yes.  There will be.  That day is coming closer.  Contact us for more information.
